Rice Paper Bacon
8 Sheets of rice paper
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup tamari
3 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup
1 tsp. hickory liquid smoke
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the water, tamari, nutritional yeast, maple syrup, and liquid smoke together. Set aside.
Now take two sheets of rice paper and wet them under running water. Stick the two sheets together. Then take scissors and cut the rice paper into strips- like bacon.
Run each strip through the marinade and lay it on the parchment lined baking sheet.
Once the sheet if full place it in the oven for 7 minutes.
Repeat until all the rice paper is used or the marinade is gone.
